What ThinkGLP is
ThinkGLP is an independent publisher covering GLP-1 medications — Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, Mounjaro and the rest of the class. We exist because this is one of the fastest-moving areas in medicine, and most of what people find about it is either marketing, hype, or written in clinical language nobody enjoys reading. Our job is to translate the evidence into clear, practical explainers: how the drugs work, what they cost, what the side effects actually feel like, and how the options compare.
Everything we publish is grounded in authoritative sources — FDA prescribing information, clinical trial results, CMS and Medicare guidance, and manufacturer documentation — and we link those sources in every article. Our editorial policy explains exactly how content gets made.
What ThinkGLP is not
We're equally clear about what we're not. We are not a medical practice. We don't employ physicians, we don't diagnose or treat anyone, and nothing on this site is medical advice. Our articles never tell you to start, stop, or change a medication — those decisions belong with you and a qualified clinician who knows your history. We publish general education to help you have a better-informed conversation with that clinician.
Our writers publish under first names only and hold no medical credentials — and unlike many sites in this space, we won't invent a fake "medical review board" to look more authoritative. What we offer instead is transparent sourcing: every factual claim traces to a source you can check yourself.
